Comparison of signals in MATLAB®/Simulink®
MEval offers an automatic comparison of test signals with their reference signals in MATLAB/Simulink. The innovative two-stage algorithm used in MEval avoids the lacks of conventional comparison methods.
The development of embedded software becomes a critical factor in the increasing competition within the various industrial sectors. Due to the software's high complexity, the development process of embedded software has to fulfil a multitude of requirements to ensure the product's high quality.

The comparison of models can be automated with MEval which compares model outputs as test signals with reference signals in an objective way.
Innovative comparison methods
MEval uses a two-stage method for comparison which is an innovation among the comparison methods conventionally used. MEval's strength is the successive use of the preprocessor and comparison component for signal comparison. Thus, the lacks of conventional methods for signal comparison, e.g. rejection of similar or acceptance of different signal waveforms, are avoided.

The comparison results are displayed textually as well as graphically which supports the user in analysing the results.
